1. Scope of this policy

This policy explains how DentBuddy LLC ("DentBuddy," "we," "us," and "our") collects, uses, and shares information through dentbuddy.io, our advertising campaigns, and our text messaging (SMS/MMS) program.

It applies to prospective shop partners, who are owners or representatives of paintless dent repair and dent-repair shops who express interest in our services, and shop customers, who are customers of shops we work with that we contact by text on a shop's behalf as part of delivering our services to that shop.

2. Information we collect

From website visitors. Limited technical information generated when you visit dentbuddy.io, including browser, device, IP address, pages requested, and diagnostic data.

From prospective shop partners. When you respond to one of our ads through a Meta Instant Form or similar form, we collect the information you provide: name, phone number, email address (optional), business name, and business location or city.

From shop customers. When a shop we work with refers you to us, or you respond to an enquiry, we collect: name, phone number, email address (optional), and vehicle make or model. If your enquiry proceeds, we may request photos of the vehicle damage by text message (MMS).

3. How we use information

We use information to follow up on enquiries and assess fit for our services; schedule introductory or sales calls with prospective shop partners; collect and relay vehicle damage information and photos to the shop we are working on behalf of so it can assess or quote a repair; operate, secure, and improve dentbuddy.io; and meet legal and accounting obligations.

4. Text messaging (SMS/MMS) program

DentBuddy sends text messages from a DentBuddy-operated phone number. We use two programs: one for prospective shop partners who submit an ad form and may receive text follow-up to schedule a call, and one for shop customers, where DentBuddy texts on a shop's behalf to request damage details or photos and identifies that it is messaging on the shop's behalf.

Consent. By submitting your phone number through one of our forms, or by providing your phone number to a shop that works with DentBuddy, you consent to receive text messages from DentBuddy as described above.

No sharing of opt-in data. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use-case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent. This information will not be shared with any third parties.

Opting out and getting help. Reply STOP to any message to opt out. We will send a confirmation. You may opt in again through the same method you originally used. Reply HELP for help or email info@dentbuddy.io.

Rates, frequency, and carrier liability. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies based on your enquiry. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Contact your wireless provider for details.

5. How information is shared

We may share information with service providers that help us operate our services, including Meta, GoHighLevel, Sendblue, HubSpot, and Zapier; with the shop we are working with to provide a quote or repair; and where required by law.

We do not sell personal information. We are not a lead-generation affiliate network, and we do not buy or sell leads.

6. Cookies and similar technology

Our hosting and advertising services may use cookies, pixels, and similar technology to support website functionality, advertising performance, and usage analysis. Your browser settings may allow you to limit some cookies, although doing so can affect how websites work.

7. Retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy and to meet legal, accounting, and operational requirements. We use reasonable safeguards, but no storage or transmission system is completely secure.

8. Your choices

You may request information about the personal information we hold about you, or request correction or deletion where applicable, subject to law and operational requirements. To stop text messages, reply STOP. For other requests, email info@dentbuddy.io.

9. Children's privacy

DentBuddy is directed to businesses and adult consumers. We do not knowingly collect children's information through our forms or text messaging program.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will appear on this page with the current effective date.
